Temperatures are cooler, leaves are changing colors and crockpot season is here. This all means that the fabulous season of fall is upon us. Here are four reasons why you should love North TX this Fall.
- Dallas area sports teams – We love our teams and go hard for them. With basketball, football, hockey and soccer seasons underway you can come out to watch and support the Cowboys, Mavericks, Stars, and FC Dallas.
- Decorations – From berries, flowers, garland, gourds and wreaths to holidays in the fall, you will have an abundance of reasons to be inspired to decorate around your home this fall.
- Fall festivals and happenings – Just because the State Fair of Texas is over does not mean it’s a wrap for fall festivals and exciting things to do in and around Dallas. Come out to Autumn at the Arboretum at the Dallas Arboretum for family fun from now until Wednesday, November 25. The Dallas Summer Musicals – the Sound of Music is going on until Sunday, November 22 at the Music Hall Fair Park in Dallas. The Fall Festival of Cultures: Children from Around the World runs until Saturday, November 14 in Duncanville, the 32nd Annual Beaujolais and Beyond Wine Festival takes place on Friday, November 20 in nearby Irving and the 2015 DFW Auto Show in Fort Worth will take place at the Fort Worth Convention Center from Thursday, November 19 until Sunday, November 22.
- The weather – The dog days of summer are behind us and that means we’ve traded in the hot and humid climate for cooler temperatures. This makes the fall the perfect time to wear your favorite hoodie or sweater and take advantage of the beautiful weather and spend outdoors, take walks, go on bike rides and enjoy your outdoor living space
